REPAIRING EQUIPMENT FOR OVER 5 YEARS!

         The history of Mountainside Equipment & Repair is one that is definitely worth telling. I (Dallas) enjoyed helping my dad fix equipment on the farm and when I was about 15 I tackled my first engine. The engine had a service and they forgot to tighten the drain plug which came out over time and drained the oil. The engine seized and the company just parked the machine.

          My dad, knowing I badly wanted to work on an engine, bought the machine and challenged me to fix it. With very little knowledge I plunged into the project. I first pulled the engine and then opened the bottom of the engine, revealing the crank and the bearings that had seized because of oil loss. I removed the crank and put a new one in with new bearings, followed by reinstalling the engine. To this day that machine is still running without missing a beat from the day I put it together.

          As a young man I loved the challenges of figuring out problems and accomplishing things that many did not think was possible at my age. I also saw the opportunity in the local and surrounding areas for a Ag and Construction Mechanic. Almost 10 years later I still have a passion to figure out challenging problems and take on new things that I have never done. Matched with my passion of fixing things is my passion to provide superior customer service and to provide quality and reliable parts for your equipment.
